This is my new body of work exploring a new direction with a deeper more immediate internal response to that part of myself behind frontal cortex behavior.
The brush stroke itself is the object and the vehicle that carries my mental/emotional dynamic at the moment made as well as the visual aesthetics of the piece.
The brush stroke carries the energy signature, its color acts as its voice and together they exhibit
the character of that moment's mentation.
I see this as a form of westernized Sumi Modern Art.
