I painted this tropical scene on a piece of canvas 12ft x 4ft. Then cut it into 3 sections and placed them on the wall with wall paper paste and staples to fill in the gaps.
The frame is 50+ year old yellow pine "slab ends" from an defunct saw mill in south eastern charlotte county (in swamp land) that was just discovered a month ago because the drought has lowered the water enough it could seen.
This may well be the best "framing job" ever done for one of my works.
