| This is actually a plien-air painting done across the street from my studio based first on the shadows cast upon my canvas by the tree behind me and outlined very quick then while just playing with colors and shapes I let the bustling scene of people shopping in the open fresh food mart in front of me influence me to a degree. This was a first for me - at least 1st in a long time. A true abstract instead of my usual expressionist bent. There will be more to come. |
